I’m Jumanne Kolokolo Daudi,

The native of Tanzania and the owner of

KILI-BOMA ADVENTURES.

Am a professional licensed Mountain Guide and have been guiding clients to Mount Kilimanjaro and Mt.Meru. I was born in West Kilimanjaro at the village previously known as Londrossi near Londrossi Gate. Currently am living at Boma La Ng’ombe a small town near KILIMANJARO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT(K.I.A.).

Guiding passion began at the early 1999 after graduating my O-level education at Umbwe Secondary School (near Umbwe route gate) and when i was taking my A-level education at Kilimanjaro Boys High School (near Rongai route gate). Comprised of some climbing trips and attending Kilimanjaro guiding courses and obtaining full route guiding license offered by Kilimanjaro National Park(KINAPA), and being member of Kilimanjaro Guides Association(KGA) this leads me to my currently job as a Mountain Guide.

I have been working for long time in this industry of tourism as a freelance tour guide and gaining a lot of experience. I have summit 208 times to the top of Kilimanjaro with my clients, while 39 times before the top and 33 times on Mt.Meru (the 2nd highest with 4566m amsl here in my country Tanzania).

My team (Guides,Porters and Drivers) are selected from a pool of multilingual well qualified individuals who are trained and certified in first aid as well. Most of them are coming from my town and enjoy to earn income from good friendships and neighborhood through this kind work.

For the past 8 years i have been guiding on Mt.Kilimanjaro and Mt.Meru trekking as a freelance guide. My responsibilities also involves; leading trekking guide&guiding people with physical challenges as well, field expert, expedition leader and itinerary planning. I have also done a lot of safaris with the groups in our various national parks, which allow me to learn more things individually. I careful maintain itineraries which have been meticulously planned according to careful consideration to the amount of time recommended to appreciates the adventurous surroundings. I operate lodge safaris, camping safaris, culture safaris as well as walking safaris.

I launched KILI-BOMA ADVENTURES with the belief that travelers would share my desire to experience authentic adventures in a responsible and sustainable manner. I will run it perfectly with passion for making sure you get behind the scenes to experience the real world. Furthermore!, You never really travel alone, the world is full of friends waiting to get to know you!.
